Bill Clark Homes

By Hilary Brady

Bill Clark Homes has been creating affordable opportunities for people to achieve a dream home in dream locations throughout North Carolina and South Carolina since 1977.

With 55 active communities in southeastern North Carolina and the Myrtle Beach market, Bill Clark Homes builds more than 300 attractive and affordable homes each year. He’s recognized throughout the Carolinas for his ability to offer a higher quality at a lower price.

The developer and new-home builder made his mark on the southern Brunswick County community more than ten years ago with his distinctive work in Southport and then more recently Sunset Beach. And now he’s making a noteworthy impression in Ocean Isle Beach too.

Bill Clark Homes is responsible for numerous beautiful homes in Southport’s Traemoor at Arbor Creek, a highly amenitized community with all-brick homes, as well as Seaspray Cove at Carolina Place and Mariners Pointe, both charming Southport-area communities offering a wide variety of home styles and prices, from $115,000 to $350,000.

The Sunset Ridge community was Bill Clark Homes’ first initiative in Sunset Beach, and it has proven hugely successful over the past three years with more than 100 homes built. His success process that throughout his 30 years of experience, Bill Clark has recognized and satisfied the needs of a community.

“We have several people moving to southern Brunswick County for its beaches,” says Annah Norris, Sales and Marketing Director for Bill Clark Homes. “But they’re looking for affordability too. Whether it’s an established community like Sunset Ridge or our newest venture in Ocean Isle Beach, our communities always offer people an opportunity to be close to the coast while staying in a price range that is comfortable.”

Sunset Ridge, which is located off of Highway 904 between Highway 17 and Sunset Beach, includes a pool, clubhouse, fitness center, and beach access within a five-minute drive. Although many find perfection and respite in this popular community, Bill Clark is also catering to a different customer with The Retreat, his new project in Ocean Isle Beach.

The Retreat provides residents with “peaceful convenience.” Only one minute to the beach and walking distance to restaurants, grocery stores, putt-putt, a nail salon and night spots, the new community “is nice and quiet, but also offers everything right outside your front door,” says Norris.

Homes in The Retreat range in price from $250,000 to $400,000 and feature luxurious coastal architectural details such as Hardie board exteriors, metal roofs, hardwood floors and granite countertops, with several sought-after pond-view homesites available. In addition to the many amenities outside of the community, The Retreat will also offer a community pool and clubhouse.

“Our residents have a daily choice of sunbathing, shopping or jet skiing, all just seconds away,” says Norris. “You really can’t find that anywhere else.”

Norris says the company wants to give everyone the opportunity to live in the area at a price they can afford.

“Whether it’s a home built within one of our communities, or a semi-custom or custom home on your own property, the whole point of our company is to give people higher quality of life for a lower price,” explains Norris.
